3AM EST Alarm Rings!
4AM EST Depart home for Dayton OH airport and Westwind Car Parking Service
4:30AM Westwind delivers us to the airport
6AM Depart Dayton to Atlanta "courtesy" of Delta Airlines
Lunch Great Italian restaurant in Atlanta's airport with highlight of meeting a man who owns a house in Golden Beach FL where we had visited in October! Proverbial small world!
Flight to JFK followed by another lunch (!) in the international terminal
6PM Finally we depart for Cairo via Egyptair with exit row seats to reduce the pain of the 12-hour trip. We eat and sleep and eat again and arrive in Cairo to the welcome of our Vantage team and tour program manager Mohamed Anwar ... best ever we are about to learn!
Of course by the time we get to Cairo another day has passed and it is Monday December 3!
